"Diversity within the scientific community is essential for advancing science because it facilitates the inclusion of a wide range of perspectives and contributions." This is how we open our study, recently published in Ecology and Evolution.

We conducted an observational and experimental study during the Behaviour23 world conference, combined with surveys, to investigate broader equity, diversity and inclusion issues at conferences in general. Our findings revealed interesting patterns, and we also provide recommendations for organising more inclusive scientific events. Check it out.
