REVISITING THE GALÁPAGOS MARINE IGUANAS WITH DARWIN

I joined the Captain Darwin project in 2024 to study the iconic Galápagos marine iguanas (Amblyrhynchus cristatus) aboard a sailing boat. ​This expedition was truly a dream adventure for any biologist, as we sailed almost every day sail to a new sampling location in search of marine iguanas. These were probably Darwin's least favourite animal, but with their specialized foraging strategies in the sea, marine iguanas really are unique.
